Do't Yourself Children's sessions
My children’s sessions are all about fun, imagination, and creativity. Each workshop gives children the chance to explore colour, pattern, and design through the playful art of dot painting.
These sessions are designed to encourage self-expression and build confidence, while also helping children develop focus and fine motor skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. Using safe, child-friendly materials, I guide them step by step to create their own unique pieces of art that they can be proud of.
Every session is filled with laughter, learning, and a sense of achievement. Whether it’s a one-off creative activity, a school holiday workshop, or a regular class, children leave feeling inspired and excited to keep creating.
Do't Yourself Adult Workshops
Step into a calm, creative space where you can slow down, reconnect, and rediscover the joy of making something beautiful with your own hands. My adult workshops are designed to combine the soothing practice of mandala dot art with gentle mindfulness techniques, helping you to relax, unwind, and nurture your wellbeing.
Each session begins with a short mindfulness exercise to help you settle into the present moment. From there, I’ll guide you through the process of creating your own unique mandala design, using simple dotting techniques that anyone can learn, no matter your artistic experience.
You’ll explore colour, pattern, and flow, while learning how the repetitive rhythm of dotting can quiet the mind and bring a sense of calm and focus. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave not only with a beautiful piece of art, but also with a renewed sense of peace and accomplishment.

Adult Do't Yourself Workshop - 20.04.26
Once a month Dotty about Dot's hosts a mandala Do't Yourself session at Elmscroft Community Centre.
Each Session costs £25 pp, this includes all the materials and use of art supplies to create your very own Mandala Masterpiece, as well as your first drink free.
In the 90 minute session you will be guided through the process to create your own art piece, bringing you relaxation and calm and the opportunity to be mindful and in the moment.
Elmscroft Community Centre is tucked away in Gloucester, with great parking, quick access to local bus routes, and a fully stock licensed bar which is available to buy from throughout the session.
